Retal Lithuania, a production site of the RETAL group, specializes in offering packaging products and services. For this project, we were tasked with providing energy-saving lighting solutions with minimal investment, ensuring high light quality and adapting lighting levels to specific tasks.
To meet these requirements, Fulmar luminaires were selected for their energy efficiency and superior lighting quality. We developed special modifications for these standard lamps, allowing them to replace the existing outdated lighting fixtures seamlessly. Various optics were used to tailor the lighting to specific areas within the facility.
Additionally, light sensors were installed in the main production area, which features large windows that allow natural daylight to illuminate most of the space. This setup significantly reduces electricity consumption. In the warehouse area, motion sensors were used to provide lighting only when needed, further enhancing energy savings.
“By installing new lighting in the Retal Lithuania company, the energy consumption of electricity for the manufacturing facility and warehouses has decreased by 1.8 to 2 times. Meanwhile, the lighting quality in these areas has improved twofold. Maintenance costs have also reduced, as there is no need to rent special equipment to change luminaires or hire personnel to carry out these tasks.
